Community Hands
Calling all who might have a God-given skill, spiritual gift or talent which might be helpful for serving others!!! (Hint: That applies to EVERYONE!!!) If you are led to help meet the needs of those in our community, let us know about your abilities and interests so that our Division of Outreach might pair you with other members in small teams to work on short-term projects to meet these needs as we become aware of them.  For more information, email communityhands@communityec.org.

“‘I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’  Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?  And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?  And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’  And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’”  Matthew 25:36-41
We desire to serve others by being the hands and feet of Jesus in helping to meet their needs.  There are two ministries currently operating as part of “a hand up.” Our Sowing Seeds of Hope ministry is asking for donations of Tuna & Chicken with Crackers kits (nothing spicy), Non-Refrigerated Protein Shakes (Chocolate), Non-Refrigerated Chocolate Milk and Cheese / Peanut Butter Cracker packs and gift cards in the range of $10 to $25 for Family Dollar, Giant, Wawa and Weis.
We also operate the Sinking Spring Food Pantry the first Thursday of every month from 4:30 to 6:30pm Contact info@communityec.org if you are interested in being more involved in helping out with these ministries or have any questions.
