Good Afternoon Everyone…

Three attributes of God:

Omnipotence, which means All Powerful

Omniscience, which means All Knowing

Omnipresence, which means All Present

Just a little word lesson – the prefix in those words (omni) comes from Latin meaning “ALL.”

I am going to focus on Omnipresence.  Just think about this: God is capable of being everywhere at the same time – everywhere at once!!!  Is that mind-blowing, or what?!?!  Have you ever had your cell phone buzz at the same time when your landline phone starts to ring?  You can’t answer both at the exact same time!  Or what about the scenario of being on an important call that requires your complete attention as your child is standing in front of you asking you a question?  You can’t respond to both parties at the same time without losing concentration on one or the other!  Or your spouse is in another room of the house and yells out to you, but you can’t be of assistance because you have been on hold for 10 minutes already, waiting for someone to tell you why & how your debit card has been compromised and you know the minute you would try to help your spouse would be the very same second the person on the other end would be back on with the answer you need to move forward. So, you know you can’t help your spouse at that moment!  You can’t be both places at the same time!

Matthew 18:20 says, “For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”

God is able to be with two or three followers in Pennsylvania, in Italy, in Syria, or any other place in the world – ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!   He would be able to handle all the above situations that we can’t…simply because He is God and He is Omnipresent!!!

Something else amazing: God hears ALL our prayers at the same time!!!  At our staff meetings on a Monday morning, we take care of business first, and end with prayer.  The prayer requests we receive are equally divided among the staff members and then, all at the same time, we pray for those on our individual list.  God is capable of hearing each and every one of our prayers – from seven different people – at ALL THE SAME TIME!!!  He is beyond AMAZING!!!

The Omnipresent God cares about us as a loving Father.  He knows everything about us, and He stands ready to help, instruct, and teach us in the ways of wisdom.    Psalm 32:8 – “The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.  I will advise you and watch over you.”

Because of Jesus, the Omnipresent God dwells in us by the Holy Spirit.  For Christians, God’s presence in heaven will be a demonstration of unbelievable blessings, and the greatest blessing will be to be with the One who died for us!!!

LOVE TO ALL OF YOU!!!
